Our Mission
At the Xola Foundation, we believe that cost should never be a barrier to clinical excellence. Our primary mission is to provide financial assistance and “Scholarships for Care” to high-acuity patients—specifically our Veterans, First Responders, and Perinatal Mothers—who are underinsured or facing financial hardship.
By removing the burden of cost, we ensure that those who serve our community have immediate access to our specialized, integrated medical and behavioral health model.
How We Help
We provide a “Safety Net” for the West Valley through three core pillars of support:
1. Care Scholarships
For many Veterans and First Responders, high deductibles or gaps in coverage can delay life-saving treatment. The Xola Foundation provides direct financial grants to cover the cost of integrated primary care, psychiatric evaluations, and trauma-informed therapy.
2. The Perinatal Support Fund
Postpartum complications don’t wait for insurance approval. We provide specialized funding for mothers in the perinatal period to access our Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNPs) and psychiatric stabilization services, regardless of their ability to pay.
3. Addressing Social Determinants (SDOH)
Healing requires more than just a doctor’s visit. The Foundation assists with the “Social Determinants of Health” by providing resources for transportation, medical supplies, and navigational support to ensure patients remain compliant with their care plans.
Why It Matters: The “No Hero Left Behind” Initiative
In the West Valley, our heroes are often the last to ask for help. Whether it is a Veteran struggling with moral injury or a First Responder battling the physical and mental toll of the front line, the Xola Foundation ensures they receive a “Warm Handoff” into a safe clinical environment without the stress of an incoming bill.
“The Foundation didn’t just pay for my doctor; they gave me my life back. They removed the stress of the ‘how’ so I could focus on the ‘work’ of healing.” — Foundation Grant Recipient
Our Impact: The Cross-Subsidization Model
The Xola Foundation is uniquely sustainable. While our clinical engine, Xola Behavioral Health, operates as a high-performance medical facility, its profitability helps fuel our mission. This “Double-Bottom-Line” approach ensures that every dollar donated to the Foundation goes directly toward patient care and scholarships, not administrative overhead.
